Ouarzazate to Merzouga, more times than I can count honestly. It is never just the distance. Wind, lunch, and where someone wants to stop for a photograph change the day.

Something you talk people out of?

Leaving too late for dunes. Arriving after dark sounds romantic until someone is tired, hungry, and trying to find a bag by phone light.

The best hour on any of your routes?

The first quiet hour after Skoura, when the landscape opens and people stop checking how much longer.

What would you change about the company?

I would make every desert plan include a weather note written by someone who has actually been outside that week.
