What we collect
When you send an enquiry: your name, your email, a phone number if you give one, how many of you there are, roughly when you want to travel, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing on the enquiry form is required except a name and a way to reply.
When you book: passport name and number for the houses that ask for it, dietary notes, an emergency contact, and your insurance details. We do not store card numbers — payments run through our bank and we never see the full number.
Why we hold it
To answer you, to book the rooms and guides your route needs, and to be able to reach you or your emergency contact while you are somewhere without signal. That is the whole list.
We do not profile you, we do not score you, and we do not use your enquiry to target advertising anywhere.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that never became bookings are deleted after eighteen months. Booking records are kept for seven years because Moroccan tax law requires it, then deleted. Medical notes go within a week of your return, as above.
Photographs from a trip are only kept if you have said yes in writing, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Cookies
One cookie, which remembers your language choice. There is no analytics script on this site, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tag of any kind — which is also why we cannot tell you how many people read this page.
The newsletter
Four emails a year, sent from the office, with two new routes and whatever has closed. Your address is used for nothing else and is held with the mailing tool alone — not merged into your booking record.
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe at the bottom, and unsubscribing deletes the address rather than flagging it.
Your rights
You can ask to see everything we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to the office and a named person will answer within thirty days — usually the same week.
There is no form to fill in and no template to use. An email saying “please delete my details” is enough.
